Who knew that Alaskan Summers started in March? Well, this one did with the arrival, over the weekend, of my employee packet from Camp Denali/North Face Lodge in Denali National Park in our fair, far-off, 49th state. I have yet to trip over my euphoria although sure as God made apples, it'll happen. Still, excited and wired as I may be, being a new housekeeper/wait person, given my age, lies somewhere between adventuresome and foolish. I lean toward the former knowing full well that at some point (probably about early July) the latter will apply. Stay tuned for preparation details--I'll try to keep the anxiety out of it.
